I'm certain that any minute now - Dora will be interrupted on the TV by the rainbow striped screen and the loud beep of an Emergency Monsoon Alert. Seriously.
In other news - does anyone else consider it a productive day when all your machines are going? I always feel like a good stay-at-home mom when I'm consuming energy. Laundry, Dishwasher, Crockpot. Good Day. Made even better when an errand or two was run in the morning. Check.
My goal for the month of August, is to get us all rolling and out the door by 9 two days a week. Even if it's just to go for a walk. Elise starts preschool in September and needs to be there by 9am Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you know Elise, you know she is like her Mama and loves her sleep and to take it really slow in the morning - so I've been getting a bit worried about how we'll be able to get our whole morning routine done before noon - let alone 8:50. She is getting very excited about going, though, mostly that she will get to play with other kids and wear her backpack. I can't believe she'll be 3.
